Are your fire performers licensed and insured?

Our fire performers are guaranteed qualified, experienced, insured professionals who prioritize safety, professionalism, and compliance. All Hungry Flame Productions performers are insured, and our core team members all hold FDNY licenses. Licensing requirements vary by location, but every performer on our roster is trained to uphold the safety standards and professional values of the Hungry Flame team. Upon booking, we review the venue’s requirements and applicable local regulations to help ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, insurance documentation, and other event-specific requirements are addressed before your performance.
Safety is a top priority at Hungry Flame Productions. We take extensive precautions to mitigate the inherent risks of fire entertainment and ensure that each performance is conducted as safely as possible. Our performers are trained to assess their surroundings, identify potential hazards, and respond appropriately to any concerns that arise. Every fire performance will ALWAYS include an appropriate number of trained safety assistants. If conditions are deemed unsafe, a performance may be modified, postponed, or canceled at the performer's discretion to prioritize the safety of everyone involved.

Does a fire performance require a special setup?

Yes. Fire performances require adequate clearance from guests, structures, overhead obstructions, and other potential hazards. We will need to approve the performance area and equipment staging location in advance. Site requirements vary depending on the details, but our team will work with you to assess the space, identify any specific requirements, and coordinate the necessary safety arrangements before the event. Please let us know whether your event is indoors or outdoors and share any venue restrictions you are aware of during the booking process.
Can fire performances be performed indoors?

The short answer is YES! However, indoor fire performances are subject to additional restrictions and require prior coordination and approval. Many venues prohibit open-flame entertainment indoors, and approval may depend on fire codes, permits, ventilation, ceiling height, sprinkler systems, and venue policies. Indoor performances will only be considered when the venue and conditions meet all applicable safety requirements. Our team will work with you to review the venue’s requirements and determine whether an indoor fire performance is feasible. For venues that cannot accommodate open flames, LED entertainment and other non-fire acts may be excellent alternatives.
How far does Hungry Flame Productions travel?

Hungry Flame Productions works with clients across multiple markets and can coordinate entertainment for events in various locations, subject to performer availability and travel logistics. Can we request specific music or costumes?

Yes! We welcome requests for music, themes, and costume styles. Customization depends on the prior notice, so please share your vision, preferred music, dress code, and event theme when submitting your inquiry. Angela and her team love bringing creative visions to life by curating and adapting their performances to complement your event. Custom-designed costumes or props may incur additional fees, which will be discussed and approved in advance.
